Jeannie Hill is the VP of HR Group Consulting Service at AARP; where she serves as a Strategic Business Partner to the Executive Leadership team and provides the consultative and advisory interaction required to negotiate competing priorities and compromises based on the needs of the enterprise while juggling the overall impact on Human Capital related issues and challenges. She provides the subject matter expertise required to avoid jeopardizing AARP's reputation and risk.
In this role she provides leadership to the HR Consulting Services Directors, HR Business Partners, Operations and Analytics Specialist and the Organizational Design and Development Advisors.
Jeannie remains to be a Visionary Enterprise Level Expert in the fields of organizational change and transformation, and practice leadership for multiple-site. Prior to joining AARP, Jeannie owned a consulting firm, specializing in defense contracting; where she helped businesses identify opportunities for improvement in delivering human resource services and helped identify their strengths and weaknesses. She has previously serviced clients in both the federal and commercial sectors in large and complex environments. She possesses both the political and business savvy skills required to meet client’s needs. She works to maintain her superior abilities in order to cultivate change, model teamwork and collaboration in order to maximize workforce potential by conducting organizational analysis to identify strategic gaps/opportunities for AARP. She is skillful in adapting solutions to an organization’s culture based upon their timeframe, strategic direction, and available resources. As a senior level executive she works to advance client relationships and uses her skills and ability to positively influence results.
Jeannie holds a BS in Business and is currently pursuing her MBA from the University of Maryland University College and continues to provide her expertise in building and facilitating performance management environments that deliver transformational programs in order to improve operational performance and customer experience. She has demonstrated successful transformation of strategic objectives while turning investment initiatives into expected business outcomes. Her previous experience is diverse which includes multi-functional experience in Business Partnering, Executive Decision Making, Proposal Development; Project/Program Management, Change Management, Process Improvement, Client Relationship Management, Budget Management, Team Work and Strategic Human Resource Management.
Jeannie lives in Northern VA with her husband, Demetri and son Justin (6). In her spare time, Jeannie is active in community outreach programs where she mentors and coaches professional women. She enjoys home improvement hobbies and spending quality time with her family.
