Mr. Arturo Garcia joined the Bank of Mexico 22 years ago and currently he is the Bank’s CISO, responsible of the IT security and the adoption of electronic and information security controls to protect this Central Institution. He received a BS in Computer Science from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and an MSc in Distributed Systems from the University of Kent at Canterbury in England, among other studies and certifications he has achieved. In addition to this job, he enjoys teaching information security courses and writing articles and columns for security magazines.
Recently he finished a National Security Master program at the Navy University, where he combined his information security expertise with national power philosophies in order to develop a more robust national protection strategy.
